• App usage and screen time statistics (managed by Apple's Screen Time API)
• Blocked app selections and blocking schedules
• Daily check-in entries (mood, notes, goals)
• Shield theme preferences

1.2 Data stored on our servers (Firebase):

• Anonymous account ID: A random identifier created automatically — no email, name, or personal information required
• Nickname: A display name you choose (can be anything)
• Invite code: A unique code for connecting with buddies
• Buddy connections: Which anonymous IDs are paired as buddies
• Access requests: When you or your buddy request temporary access to a blocked app (includes optional short messages). Due to Apple's Screen Time API restrictions, the specific app name is not visible — it appears as "Restricted App"
• Push notification token: For delivering buddy request notifications
• Timezone offset: To send notifications at appropriate local times

1.3 Data shared with Apple Watch (via WatchConnectivity):

• Focus count and streak statistics (synced from iPhone to Watch)
• Access request notifications (buddy can approve/reject from Watch)
• App language preference
• This data is transferred directly between your iPhone and Apple Watch — it does not pass through our servers

1.4 Optional data (only if you choose):

• Apple Sign-In: If you link your Apple ID for account recovery. We only receive a relay email address and a unique identifier — Apple does not share your real email with us.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To enable the buddy system — connecting you with a friend for mutual accountability
• To enable the community mode — anonymous access requests to the community
• To deliver push notifications about buddy requests and responses
• To manage your subscription status
• To send helpful reminders at appropriate times (using timezone offset)

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect your real name, email, phone number, or any personal contact information
• We do NOT collect which specific apps you block or use
• We do NOT collect your screen time data or usage statistics
• We do NOT collect your location
• We do NOT use any advertising SDKs or trackers
• We do NOT sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties for advertising or marketing

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database (Firestore), push notifications (FCM), analytics, crash reporting. Firebase Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

Firebase Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., app opens, feature usage) to help us improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

5. Data Retention

• Access requests are automatically deleted after they expire (typically within minutes to hours)
• Your account data is retained as long as you use the app
• If you uninstall the app without linking Apple Sign-In, your anonymous account becomes inaccessible
• You can request deletion of all your data by contacting us

6. Data Security

Your data is protected using industry-standard measures:

• All server communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Firebase security rules ensure users can only access their own data and their buddy's shared data
• Sensitive data (Apple Sign-In credentials) is stored in the iOS Keychain

7. Children's Privacy

SelfBlock is intended for users aged 4 and above (with parental guidance for minors). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous authentication system means no personal data is required to use the app.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of analytics (by disabling analytics in your device settings)
• Disconnect from buddies at any time

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

• Einladungscode: Ein eindeutiger Code zur Verbindung mit Buddys
• Buddy-Verbindungen: Welche anonymen IDs als Buddys gepaart sind
• Zugriffsanfragen: Wenn Sie oder Ihr Buddy temporaeren Zugriff auf eine gesperrte App anfordern (einschliesslich optionaler Kurznachrichten). Aufgrund der Einschraenkungen der Screen Time API von Apple ist der spezifische App-Name nicht sichtbar — er wird als „Eingeschraenkte App" angezeigt

• Sie koennen die Loeschung aller Ihrer Daten beantragen, indem Sie uns kontaktieren

6. Datensicherheit

Ihre Daten werden durch branchenuebliche Massnahmen geschuetzt:

• Die gesamte Serverkommunikation verwendet HTTPS/TLS-Verschluesselung
• Firebase-Sicherheitsregeln stellen sicher, dass Benutzer nur auf ihre eigenen Daten und die geteilten Daten ihres Buddys zugreifen koennen
• Sensible Daten (Apple-Anmeldedaten) werden im iOS-Schluesselbund gespeichert

7. Datenschutz fuer Kinder

SelfBlock ist fuer Benutzer ab 4 Jahren bestimmt (mit elterlicher Aufsicht fuer Minderjaehrige). Wir erheben wissentlich keine persoenlichen Informationen von Kindern. Das anonyme Authentifizierungssystem bedeutet, dass keine persoenlichen Daten fuer die Nutzung der App erforderlich sind.

8. Ihre Rechte

Sie haben das Recht:

• Eine Kopie Ihrer Daten anzufordern
• Die Loeschung Ihrer Daten zu beantragen
• Analysen abzulehnen (durch Deaktivierung der Analysen in Ihren Geraeteeinstellungen)
• Sich jederzeit von Buddys zu trennen

9. Aenderungen dieser Richtlinie

Wir koennen diese Datenschutzrichtlinie von Zeit zu Zeit aktualisieren. Wir werden Benutzer ueber wesentliche Aenderungen ueber die App benachrichtigen. Die fortgesetzte Nutzung der App nach Aenderungen gilt als Akzeptanz der aktualisierten Richtlinie.

• Solicitacoes de acesso: Quando voce ou seu parceiro solicita acesso temporario a um aplicativo bloqueado (inclui mensagens curtas opcionais). Devido as restricoes da API Screen Time da Apple, o nome especifico do aplicativo nao e visivel — aparece como "Aplicativo Restrito"
• Token de notificacao push: Para entregar notificacoes de solicitacoes de parceiros
• Diferenca de fuso horario: Para enviar notificacoes em horarios locais apropriados

1.3 Dados compartilhados com o Apple Watch (via WatchConnectivity):

• Contagem de foco e estatisticas de sequencia (sincronizados do iPhone para o Watch)
• Notificacoes de solicitacao de acesso (parceiro pode aprovar/rejeitar pelo Watch)
• Preferencia de idioma do aplicativo
• Esses dados sao transferidos diretamente entre seu iPhone e Apple Watch — nao passam por nossos servidores

1.4 Dados opcionais (apenas se voce escolher):

• Login com Apple: Se voce vincular seu Apple ID para recuperacao de conta. Recebemos apenas um endereco de e-mail de retransmissao e um identificador unico — a Apple nao compartilha seu e-mail real conosco.

2. Como Usamos Suas Informacoes

• Para habilitar o sistema de parceiros — conectando voce com um amigo para responsabilidade mutua
• Para habilitar o modo comunidade — solicitacoes de acesso anonimas para a comunidade
• Para enviar notificacoes push sobre solicitacoes e respostas de parceiros
• Para gerenciar o status da sua assinatura

• Os dados da sua conta sao mantidos enquanto voce usar o aplicativo
• Se voce desinstalar o aplicativo sem vincular o Login com Apple, sua conta anonima se torna inacessivel
• Voce pode solicitar a exclusao de todos os seus dados entrando em contato conosco

6. Seguranca dos Dados

Seus dados sao protegidos usando medidas padrao da industria:

• Toda a comunicacao com o servidor usa criptografia HTTPS/TLS
• As regras de seguranca do Firebase garantem que os usuarios so possam acessar seus proprios dados e os dados compartilhados de seus parceiros
• Dados sensiveis (credenciais do Login com Apple) sao armazenados no iOS Keychain

7. Privacidade de Criancas

O SelfBlock e destinado a usuarios com 4 anos ou mais (com orientacao dos pais para menores). Nao coletamos intencionalmente informacoes pessoais de criancas. O sistema de autenticacao anonima significa que nenhum dado pessoal e necessario para usar o aplicativo.

8. Seus Direitos

Voce tem o direito de:

• Solicitar uma copia dos seus dados
• Solicitar a exclusao dos seus dados

SelfBlockは4歳以上のユーザーを対象としています（未成年者には保護者の指導が必要です）。お子様から故意に個人情報を収集することはありません。匿名認証システムにより、アプリの使用に個人データは必要ありません。

8. お客様の権利

お客様には以下の権利があります：

• データのコピーをリクエストする
• データの削除をリクエストする
• アナリティクスをオプトアウトする（デバイス設定でアナリティクスを無効にすることで）
• いつでもバディとの接続を解除する

9. 本ポリシーの変更

本プライバシーポリシーは随時更新される場合があります。重要な変更については、アプリを通じてユーザーに通知いたします。変更後のアプリの継続使用は、更新されたポリシーの承諾とみなされます。
